    Our banking team is called upon regularly to provide a wide range of legal advice to domestic and foreign commercial banks on matters that include, among others, regulatory compliance and other legal issues in relation to lending transactions, handling of deposits and accounts, cash management services, trust business activities, project finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, trade finance, derivatives transactions, mergers and acquisitions and the development of various financial products. Our clientele includes most of the major domestic commercial banks and subsidiaries or branches of foreign commercial banks doing business in Korea or with parties in Korea, as well as the Korea Federation of Banks. We act as designated external legal counsel for the Bank of Korea and the Financial Supervisory Service, and such relationships provide added benefits such as invaluable opportunities for better understanding the regulators’ perspectives and concerns in connection with various types of regulatory compliance issues.
