목포 신항만 민간투자사업 관련 프로젝트 건

Lee & Ko has recently been successfully involved in the Mokpo Newport Private Investment Project.  The total project costs and financing for the project, which involves the operation of relevant facilities located in Mokpo, Korea, amounts to approximately USD 85 Million and USD 54 Million, respectively.  A unique aspect of this transaction is that the project company holds certain real estate and has the right to dispose of such real estate in its discretion (which is quite different from other private investment projects in Korea).  In addition to our role as the legal advisor for the financing aspect of the transaction, we have been engaged to serve as legal advisor for the restructuring of the project company, including related sale of its real estate holdings.
