In August 2014, Lee & Ko’s Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Group represented Company N (a solar energy company) and applied for commencement of a rehabilitation proceeding to the Seoul Central District Court. Lee & Ko has been providing legal advice on the overall rehabilitation proceeding, including meeting of the interested parties and rehabilitation plan. This case is meaningful since it is a rehabilitation proceeding for Company N – with production ability ranking no. 1 in Korea and no. 5 in the world – to get out of its temporary liquidity problem and reorganize the company.
