Following the Korean Supreme Court’s unanimous decision on the conversion to sales system (2009da97079 Supreme Court, April 11, 2011), the residents of about 100 sales conversion apartments filed lawsuits for unjust enrichment against LH, alleging that LH’s price rate for sales conversion was illegally high. This is a crucial case for LH since there are more than 200 lawsuits nationwide, and there are hundreds of plaintiffs per case with potential claims that may amount to billions of Korean Won for each case.
