On May 10, 2021, the Korea Economic Daily reported on Lee & Ko’s success in the litigation involving the Banpo Jugong 1 Complex.
The Korea Economic Daily explained that “there was a case that raised much clamor in the reconstruction market at the end of last year. IT was the litigation seeking nullification of the management disposal plan for the Banpo Jugong 1 Complex Districts 1, 2 and 4, dubbed “The “Biggest Deal in Gangnam Reconstruction Market”, and that following a heated battle of legal arguments, Lee & Ko stood victorious on its argument that “the cooperative has the duty to notify its members about the risks of cash disposition, so as to protect their property rights.”
