On 24 May 2020, The Korea Economic Daily reported on its interview with attorney Sungwoo Lim from Lee & Ko, who was appointed as the President of the Korean Council for International Arbitration (“KOCIA”).
During the interview, Mr. Lim stated that “due to the confusion surrounding international transactions caused by COVID 19, international disputes are expected to rapidly increase. For Korea, which aspires to be the Asian hub for international arbitration, the upcoming years will be a huge challenge and opportunity at the same time.”
