On April 21, 2020, the Maeil Business Newspaper reported news of Lee & Ko’s preparation with regard to the expected increase in legal consultation resulting from the spread of the COVID19.
The Maeil Business Economy stated that “Lee & Ko has recently expanded its Insolvency Team to three teams due to an expected increase of companies that will enter into rehabilitation proceedings,” and added that “Former Director of Judicial Procedure at the National Court Administration, Seunggyu Lee, and former Seoul High Court judge, Kwangchul Chin, were both recruited to strengthen the litigation team and prepare for various types of disputes.”
Lee & Ko attorney, Mr. Sang Gon Kim stated, “It is important to respond to the crisis relating to the COVID19, but it is also important to find hidden opportunity amidst the crisis.”
