Following a determination made at the firm’s general partnership meeting held in August, Lee & Ko has converted its legal practice from a general partnership to a limited liability company (LLC).
In line with current market trends favoring conversion to LLC structures by law firms, Lee & Ko expects the change to ensure greater managerial efficiency, while facilitating further growth, and professional specialization for the firm.
Far from having any negative impact on any aspect of the firm’s business and services, the new LLC structure is anticipated to lead to further improvements in the firm’s already excellent capabilities and reputation for providing legal services to clients as a “one stop” law firm, where a comprehensive range of legal service can be procured, based on the firm’s highly effective system for cooperation among the practitioners in its various specialized practice areas.
