Former Head of NTS Busan Regional Tax Office Joins Lee & Ko

Lee & Ko added Jung Hee Won, the former Head of Busan Regional Tax Office, as a senior advisor to its Tax and Customs Group. Mr. Won has impressive records of proven dedication to tax services, in which he has been a leading figure at the various divisions of the National Tax Service (the “NTS”) including the 4th Investigation Division of the Seoul Regional Tax Office and at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat. Furthermore, he obtained great knowledge and networks in the administration aspect of the NTS such as public affairs and human resources serving as the spokesperson and the Chief Officer at General Affairs Department of the NTS.

Afterwards, he continued to take essential positions at the NTS such as the Chief Officer in the Property Tax Division of the NTS. Following his experience as the Chief Officer at the entire Investigation Division of the NTS Main Office, the latest position he served at the NTS was the Head of the NTS Busan Regional Office. As demonstrated by his prior experiences, Mr. Won is equipped with extensive experience as a tax expert as well as invaluable know-hows in field practices.
