Mr. Chin Sup CHUNG joined Lee & Ko’s Corporate and M&A Practice Group on February 2, 2015. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Chung served with distinction as an elected member of the National Assembly for both the 18th and 19th National Assemblies. During this period of service as a national legislator, he was a member of the Land Infrastructure and Transport Committee, the Environment Committee and the Labor Committee, as well as serving as Vice-Chairman of the Policy Planning Committee for the ruling party (the Grand National Party-Hannara). Additionally, as the head of various policy task forces, he performed a leading role in the development of important economic policies and handling policy coordination with the executive branch.
Following his service as a member of the National Assembly, he completed the professional legal training course at the Judicial Research & Training Institute, the governmental institution responsible for training Korea’s judges, prosecutors and lawyers.
