Lee & Ko welcomed Dr. Jong Yul Lee on March 4, 2013. Dr. Lee is an expert in international tax. He was the representative of Ahn-Gun (predecessor to Deloitte Ahnjin), and in 1991 joined Kim & Chang as the head of its tax & customs practice. He was instrumental in leading Kim & Chang’s tax & customs practice to where it is today. Dr. Lee is well-known in Korea and in the Asia Pacific as the expert in international tax, tax investigations, transfer pricing, tax disputes, etc. Dr. Lee has particular strength in handling tax issues for financial institutions, investment, insurance, cosmetics, and IT industry.
