Seoung Hee Park, a lawyer licensed in New York and an expert on cross-border transactions and legal matters relating to Japan, joined Lee & Ko on February 1, 2012. Ms. Park has an extensive international background in academic, business and legal matters. Pursuant to completing an undergraduate major in English language studies at Utah State University and graduating with a J.D. from New York Law School, Ms. Park studied law and politics at Tokyo University and did work as a foreign research student. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Park acquired valuable experience working as a lawyer at a number of prominent international law firms in Japan, including Hashidate Law Office, Atsumi & Partners, Mamiya Law Offices and Atsumi & Sakai. Ms. Park is fluent in both English and Japanese and is now working in Lee & Ko’s Japan-related practice.
