Lee & Ko is proud to note that Mr. Heung Chul Shin has recently joined Lee & Ko’s team of highly experienced legal professionals. Mr. Shin’s background includes such noteworthy accomplishments as his service as a Judge of the Seoul Central District Court from 1992 to 1997, and his career as an in-house legal counsel for the Samsung Group (the largest corporate group in Korea and one of the largest corporate groups worldwide). Mr. Shin also gained valuable experience and insight into the practical day-to-day interaction between the law and business activities while working as executive director of Samsung Life Insurance. During his term of office, he earned a master’s degree from Harvard and was admitted to the New York State Bar. Other experience includes working at Paul Hasting, a prominent international law firm in the United States, where Mr. Shin furthered his experience as a legal advisor in the area of international business transactions. The addition of Mr. Shin will further enhance Lee & Ko’s ability to provide the firm’s clients with the finest legal services and representation available.
