Appointment of Soon-Yub Samuel Kwon to Serve on Policy Making Committee for Expansion of Korean Overseas Medica

Mr. Soon-Yub Samuel Kwon, a partner at Lee & Ko, was appointed on July 26, 2016 to serve as a member of a special policy making committee operating under the auspices of Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare.  Known as the Policy Making Committee for Expansion of Korean Overseas Medical Services and Promotion of Foreign Patient Visits to Korea for Medical Services, the committee is responsible for developing policies aimed at expanding overseas opportunities for Korean medical service providers, as well as promoting Korea as a leading medical tourism destination for foreign patients seeking advanced, state-of-the-art medical care. Mr. Kwon’s two-year term as a committee member will end in July 2018.
