Ms. Khanh has over 15 years of legal experience in Vietnam. As a Vietnamese attorney in Lee & Ko’s office in Hanoi, she specializes in a wide range of areas, including corporate and commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, corporate restructuring, real estate, construction, manufacturing, oil and gas (LPG), labor law, energy, pharmaceuticals, finance and banking, anti-trust and general corporate tax.
Since joining Lee & Ko in 2017, Ms. Khanh has advised multinational corporations, private equity firms, and foreign investors on complex cross-border investments, market entry strategies, and regulatory compliance in Vietnam. She also has extensive experience advising clients on numerous M&A deals involving enterprises in various business sectors. Her work on such deals has included comprehensive advice on relevant regulatory compliance issues, conducting legal due diligence, advising on business re-structuring plans, drafting transaction documents and assisting in M&A negotiations. Prior to that, she spent nearly a decade at one of the largest Vietnamese law firms in Hanoi, where she played an important role in advising global clients on M&A transactions, corporate governance, real estate, tax, labor and construction.
Ms. Khanh has been involved in numerous high-profile transactions, including advising E1 Corporation on its acquisition of multiple energy and petrochemical companies in Vietnam, advising Dong Wha Pharm. Co., Ltd on acquisition of the majority shares in TSCare JSC, advising private funds from Korea in subscription of exchangeable bonds issued by Vingroup Joint Stock Company, advising NPX POINT AVENUE PTE. LTD. in its additional subscription of shares in a Singaporean Company that operates an international and multilevel school in Vietnam; advising and supporting Asian Development Bank (ADB) in making a report on Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) Trading Platform in Asia and many other Korean banks and organizations on legal framework and NPLs status in Vietnam.
