Dr. Hur is a research fellow at Lee & Ko, giving advisory comments to the corporate clients regarding public international law and international economic law. Drawing upon her extensive academic backgrounds as a legal scholar, Dr. Hur advises and assists clients with a broad range of related international trade and investment matters, including the WTO, FTA and ISDS. She has given lectures on International Economic Law and International Investment Law in Korea University and Sogang University. Dr. Hur has been conducting many professional legal research on the governmental research projects related to the issues such as digital trade, international trade in services, investor-state dispute settlement and 'trade and environment' (climate change).
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Dr. Hur has been a participant as a representative of South Korea in the United Nations International Law Seminar, the Fifty-third Session (2017). As a research Fellow in the International Law in North East Asia Forum (ILNEAF) and also in Korea University Legal Research Institute, she has conducted professional legal research on trade-related legal issues.
