Lee & Ko has also handled a majority of real estate development projects implemented in C.I.S. countries over the last few years.  A representative project is the "Woolim Apple Town Project," an agreement which was executed on June 26, 2008, involving development and construction of apartment facilities in Almaty, Kazakhstan.  This is virtually the largest project among the real estate development projects financed by Korean lending institutions in C.I.S. countries.  The project involves construction of 3,500 units of the apartments in 275,448 square meters in area of land.  Woolim Construction Co., Ltd. is acting as the sponsor and Woori Bank, Kookmin Bank and National Agricultural Cooperative Federation have financed the project in the aggregate amount of USD 307 Million.  The project has drawn the keen attention of the City of Almaty and the Central Government of Kazakhstan as it is expected to be the landmark residential facility in Almaty City.
