Kwangchul Chin is a partner in the Litigation& Arbitration Group of Lee & Ko. He is an expert in all areas of litigation including civil litigation, criminal defense, administrative litigation, construction litigation and corporate.

Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2020, Mr. Chin served for nineteen years as a judge in the Korean judiciary from 2001. During his established tenure, he worked as a judge at the Seoul Central District Court, a law clerk at the Supreme Court, a head of Jeongeup Branch Court at the Jeonju District Court, and a judge at the Seoul High Court. He has extensive experience in a wide array of criminal, civil and administrative cases involving corporations and individuals.

In addition, Mr. Chin is an author of a legal paper, Whether or not the creditor shall return the money acquired by the execution act to the debtor in an unjustifiable gain if the seizure order is cancelled pursuant to article 2, section 246, the Civil Execution Act, which was published in 2018.
