As a member of the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, In Seon Lee’s practice focuses primarily on Anti-Trust & Competition matters, including advising clients on related regulatory compliance concerns and other legal issues in the context of M&A transactions. Since joining Lee & Ko in 2017, Mr. Lee has been involved in numerous international merger filing cases, international cartel cases, and has provided legal services regarding antitrust and competition law, corporate governance, M&As, and other general corporate law matters. Mr. Lee received his LL.M degree in Competition, Innovation, and Information Law from New York University School of Law in 2023 and received his LL.B. from the Seoul National University College of Law in 2014.
Pursuant to his admission to the Korean Bar, Mr. Lee completed a two-year course of legal training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, also he served as a public -service judge advocate in the Korean Ministry of Justice.

- Merger filings in relation to LG Group’s acquisition of ZKW Group
- Merger filings in relation to LG Electronics’ establishment of an E-Drive Component joint venture with Magna Group
- Merger filings in relation to LG Chem’s acquisition of LG Electronics’ Chemical & Electronic Material Business
- Merger filings in relation to SK Materials’ establishment of an OLED material joint venture with JNC Corporation
- Merger filing in relation to establishment of an over-the-top media service joint venture with major broadcasting stations
- Merger filing in relation to A Korea-based low-cost carrier’s acquisition of another Korea-based low-cost carrier involved “failing company defense”
- Provided advise to a Korea-based semiconductor manufacturer in the State Administration for Market Regulation (China)’s investigation on the company’s alleged abuse of market dominance)
- Represented Mirae Asset Financial Group in the KFTC's investigation into the Group's affiliate transactions
- Represented and provided advise to a Korea-based oil company in the Korea Fair Trade Commission (the "KFTC", South Korea) and the Department of Justice (United States)’s investigations on the company’s alleged bid riggings on United States Department of Defense Fuel Supply Contracts
- Represented a Korea-based IT company in the KFTC’s investigation on the company’s alleged abuse of market dominance/unfair trade practice in online platform field (self-preferencing)
- Represented a Korea-based food delivery platform service provider in a criminal litigation charging the company with violation of the Monopoly and Fair Trade Act of Korea for most favorable customer clause
- Represented a US-based RFFE chip manufacturer in the KFTC’s investigation on the company’s alleged price fixing and bid rigging
