Young Eun Son served as a prosecutor at Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office, Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office, and Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor's Office since 2002, where she specialized in conducting criminal investigations involving special, financial, securities, tax and insurance crimes. Ms. Son joined Lee & Ko in 2016 and she also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Ewha Womans University.

Ms. Son is the head of the countermeasures task force which handles various financial and security-related crimes as well as the Capital Market Act, embezzlement and fraud, and government joint insurance crimes, where she is responsible for the execution of major corporate criminal cases involving hospital and insurance crimes as well as tax related offenses.
