Jeong Yoon CHOI is a Partner in the Antitrust & Competition Group. Her practice encompasses a broad range of antitrust and competition matters, including abuse of market dominance, merger control, international and domestic cartels, unfair trade practices, and unfair inter- affiliate transactions. She also advises on matters involving subcontracting, franchising, distribution and consumer protection laws.

Ms. Choi regularly provides strategic counsel on antitrust compliance, responds to Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) investigations, handles mediation and administrative proceedings, and represents clients in antitrust-related litigation and criminal investigations. With deep experience in cross-border and domestic merger filings, cartel defense, and antitrust compliance programs, Ms. Choi is a trusted advisor to multinational corporations and major Korean conglomerates. She has conducted mock dawn raids, reviewed compliance frameworks, and advised on internal audits and risk mitigation strategies.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Choi has been active in professional outreach. She served as a guest lecturer on leniency applications at the “2019 International Training Workshop for Competition Authority Officials from Developing Countries,” organized by the KFTC’s International Cooperation Division.
