Donghyun Yoon is a partner in Lee & Ko's Banking & Finance Group. Since joining Lee & Ko in 2012, Mr. Yoon has advised a number of banks, financial institutions, airline and shipping companies (both domestic and foreign) on the acquisition of new buildings and secondhand vessels, cross border leases and the fund scheme and other structured financing. Lee & Ko is the only firm with an organized aircraft finance team and has a dominant market share in the ship financing advisory. Mr. Yoon acquired expertise on related laws and gained skills in the structuring of aircraft/ship finance.
Mr. Yoon also frequently advises major multinational and domestic financial institutions and companies in the sectors of energy and power plant projects (including renewable energy - photovoltaic, wind, waste gasification and biomass etc.) and cross-border investments. He represents major construction companies and financial institutions based locally and overseas.
Mr. Yoon holds a bachelor degree in economics from Seoul National University. After passing the Korean bar exam, he successfully completed the two-year legal training program at the Judicial Research & Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Korea.
