[North Korea and Unification Legislation]

• Implemented policy research tasks related to inter-Korean economic cooperation and international sanctions against North Korea for the competent authorities, including the Ministry of Unification, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Justice

• Advised the Ministry of Unification on U.N. and U.S. sanctions against North Korea in connection with inter-Korean economic cooperation

• Advised the Ministry of Unification on follow-up measures for the implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration

• Advised KBS and other media organizations on cultural exchange between the two Koreas

• Advised on the establishment of a joint venture company in Mt. Geumgang International Tourist Zone

• Advised the Ministry of Unification on matters related to the North Korean Refugees Protection and Settlement Support Act

• Implemented policy research tasks for the Ministry of Unification, such as research of negotiation methods in the field of trademark and patent rights

• Participated as a member of the Research Committee on Amendment to the North Korean Refugees Protection and Settlement Support Act of the Korean Bar Association

• Participated in various financial disputes arising from major accidents involving big banks (equivalent to $51.5 million) such as settlement of disputes by the Financial Supervisory Service, request for deposit return, claim for damage, claim for confirmation of nonexistence of damages liability, provisional seizure and injunction, etc

• Represented major banks and securities companies including bank K, securities company D, securities company K, etc. in various securities and fund-related lawsuits involving the issues related to customer protection obligations on stock investment in accordance with the principle of suitability, improper sales and user liability related to ELS funds, churning, voluntary trading, and recognition of explanatory obligations

• Represented an investment trust management company in a lawsuit related to private real estate investment trusts

• Represented mutual savings bank P in litigation for damage related to the undertaking in insolvency proceedings

[Corporate Litigation]

• Handled various corporate cases related to claims for damage

• Participated in litigation related to ownership disputes for invalidation and cancellation of the resolutions of the general shareholders’ meeting and the board of directors’ meeting

• Defended various corporate-related criminal cases, including embezzlement and breach of trust by corporate executives and employees

• Handled various provisional seizure and injunction cases, such as application for the provisional injunction of electricity supply interruption

[Information Technology Litigation]

• Defended an IT distributor in various civil and criminal cases arising from its transit sales under the IT distribution structure

• Defended various civil and criminal cases arising from the supply and maintenance of IT network systems

• Advised and represented Channel A in the construction project for the HD broadcasting system

• Advised and represented the KTF RAC Project

• Advised on the Paju U-City System Construction Project

• Advised and represented Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation’s SMART Mall Project

• Advised and represented Hi Investment & Securities in matters related to the computer equipment system

• Advised and represented the Ministry of National Defense in matters related to the construction project for the Knowledge Information

[General Civil, Criminal and Administrative Litigation]

• Participated in administrative lawsuits related to claims for an increase or decrease of compensation amounts upon expropriation, cancellation of administrative disposition imposing penalty surcharges in violation of the Act on the Registration of Real Estate under Actual Titleholder’s Name, changes to college recruiting guidelines, and cancellation of administrative disposition of refusal for burial in a national cemetery

• Represented construction companies in various lawsuits related to real estate development, construction costs, PF agreements, trust agreements, etc.

• Represented an academic institution in a lawsuit related to the disputes over the management and property rights, etc.

• Handled environmental litigation related to claim for damage in connection with soil pollution, waste disposal, etc.

• Handled fair trade cases in violation of the Disclosure Regulations of Large-Scale Internal Transactions

• Handled cases in the entertainment industry related to exclusive contract disputes between celebrities and management companies

• Participated in litigation related to the nullification of church resolutions and various disputes between religious denominations and religious foundations

• Participated in diverse disputes over the management and property rights of religious groups
