Myung Jong Kim joined Lee & Ko as an associate in 2004. His practice focuses primarily in the areas of Real Estate and Construction. He represents many of Korea's top construction firms, heavy industry and real estate development firms. Mr. Kim has been working on providing legal advice, arbitration, and litigations regarding large residential development projects, construction of industrial complexes, procurement of wind power plant systems and coal power plant facilities and development of combined real estate projects.

Mr. Kim was directly involved in civil, criminal, and administrative litigations and arbitrations conducted before the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB) on construction, plants, and real estate. He also worked on numerous legal proceedings before the Korea Supreme Court. He took a lead role in advising and representing a construction company regarding the selection of developers of a large fashion industry complex project hosted by the Daegu Metropolitan government.

In addition, Mr. Kim advises and represents clients on biddings, contracts and procurement-related matters between the Korean government and the private sector.

Mr. Kim holds a B.A. in law from Korea University, College of Law and an LL.M. from University of Washington School of Law. He was admitted to the Korean Bar in 2004.
