Lee & Ko advised Kakao Entertainment Corp. for the (i) purchase of shares of Radish Media, a company which develops and operates a mobile app platform for novels, by way of conducting a private tender offer and (ii) purchase of shares of Tapas Media, a company which develops and operates a mobile app platform for cartoons and novels, by way of conducting a reverse triangular merger for a total transaction value of approximately KRW 600 billion. The Share Purchase Agreement was executed on May 11, 2021 and the transaction successfully closed on June 30, 2021.
