Lee & Ko successfully advised and consulted on this transaction as it pertained to the sale of a 31.53% ownership interest in Samsung Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd. by Samsung SDI Co., Ltd., Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., Samsung C&T Corporation, Hotel Silla Co., Ltd. and Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., Ltd. (collectively “Samsung Group”) for KRW 465.5 billion. The Samsung Group consummated the transaction in order to improve its business structure.
