Lee & Ko acted as legal advisors to DAEWOO ENERGY CO., LTD. (“Daewoo Energy”) in October 2014 in connection with the development of the Daewoo Pocheon LNG Combined Cycle Power Plant Project. As developer for the project, Daewoo Energy required Lee & Ko’s advice and assistance with a broad range of issues and tasks, including, among other things, obtaining licenses and approvals needed for the power generation project, company incorporation matters, and advice on project-related contractual agreements, including the EPC contract, pursuant to which the credit facility agreement for the project and the first drawdown thereunder were successfully completed in October, 2014.
