Lee & Ko acted as legal advisors for the establishment of CJ HealthCare Corporation through a spin-off of the pharmaceutical division of CJ Cheiljedang. The total assets of CJ HealthCare are valued at approximately KRW 424.1 billion and CJ Group expects to strengthen and increase its expertise and efficiency in the healthcare industry as a result of this spin-off. Lee & Ko provided legal assistance throughout the entire spin-off process, from preparing the spin-off schedule to completing the registration of the newly formed corporation. This transaction successfully closed on April 1, 2014.
