In December of 2011, affiliates of Kumho Asiana Group launched a lawsuit against KAMCO and the creditors. The plaintiffs alleged that the creditors had violated the reps and warranties by concealing its contingent liabilities in the course of the sale of Daewoo Engineering & Construction, claiming for 104 billion Korean Won as damages. Lee & Ko is currently representing KAMCO and the creditors following an appeal.
