Acquisition of Kumho Investment Bank by Woori Financial Group

Lee & Ko represented Woori Financial Group (“Woori”) in a transaction where Woori acquired Kumho Investment Bank of which Woori Private Equity Fund with Woori Private Equity, a subsidiary of Woori, as a general partner, was the largest shareholder.  The acquisition was accomplished through the issuance of new shares and the transaction was successfully completed on June, 2013.
