Merger of CJ GLS into CJ Korea Express Corporation

Lee & Ko provided advice related to the merger of CJ GLS into CJ Korea Express Corporation (“CJ Korea Express”) that successfully closed in March, 2013.  This transaction posed many challenges such as restrictions on the holding company under the Monopoly Regulations and Fair Trade Act.  Lee & Ko developed a creative business structure that allowed for the consolidation of logistics business and overcome various regulatory obstacles.
