Recently, McDonalds Korea has opened up drive-thru stores in Korea, and Lee & Ko’s real estate team has provided comprehensive services related thereto including negotiating the land and building lease agreements with the owners, obtaining permits and approvals from administrative agencies for the road use and the construction of drive-thru stores, etc. For the past few years, Lee & Ko has provided advice to McDonalds Korea in respect of long-term land and building lease agreements for its stores in Korea. As McDonalds Korea plans to open additional drive-thru stores in Korea, our provision of the foregoing services will likely continue in the future.
