Lee & Ko Appointed as Legal Counsel for Currency Swap Agreement between the Bank of Korea and the Federal Reserve Bank

Lee & Ko has been acting as legal counsel for Currency Swap Agreement recently executed between the Bank of Korea (“BOK”) and the Federal Reserve Bank ("FRB”). This currency swap agreement is expected to perform an important function with respect to facilitating the ability of the BOK to provide liquidity in a timely manner, whenever needed in order to stabilize the Korean financial market. As sole legal advisor to the BOK with regard to this currency swap agreement, Lee & Ko participated in the related negotiations between the BOK and the FRB.
