On September 29, 2021, Jong Soo Yoon, an attorney at Lee & Ko, was featured in a Digital Today news article on the Personal Information Protection Commission’s one-year anniversary seminar entitled “One Year After the Launch: Discussing the Present and the Future”.

During his presentation on “The Right to Self-Determination of Personal Information in the Digital Economy Era”, Mr. Yoon underlined that “the consent framework should be converted to a consensus model for mutual benefit in order to realize the right to self-determination of personal information in the digital economy era”, and stated that “cooperation of stakeholders, including data subjects, data controllers, and the public, is necessary”.
