Lee & Ko to Host Webinar Series entitled “Korean Tax and Customs Law 2020: Key Amendments”

Lee & Ko will host a 3-day series of webinars entitled “Korean Tax and Customs Law 2020: Key Amendments”, from September 2nd to 4th.

The Korean government recently announced its 2020 tax law amendments. These include major changes to the Korean tax law, in areas including: taxation of gains derived from the disposition of virtual assets; taxation of financial investment income; and a reformed tax regime for trusts.

Moreover, the economic impact of Covid-19, the global recession it has caused, and the effects on the Korean economy have become topics of great interest to taxpayers and policymakers, and this will also be a topic of discussion during the webinars.
