LAWASIA Conference – Leading Lee & Ko Experts Featured Prominently as Speakers on Various Legal Topics of Interest

Four Lee & Ko lawyers—Yong Seok Ahn, Hyeong Gun Lee, Dong Seok Woo and Se Ry Lee—recently participated as featured speakers on various topics at the 24th LAWASIA Conference held from October 9 ~ October 12, 2011 at the Seoul Grand InterContinental Hotel. LAWASIA is an international legal organization for legal professionals, academics and legal associations in the Asia-Pacific region.As a featured speaker for the Labor Law session on October 10, Se Ry Lee spoke on the topic of “Corporate Restructuring and Employment Transfer in Korea.” Dong Seok Woo was a featured speaker for the Energy Law session on October 11, and delivered an informative presentation titled “Energy Policy in Korea.” Hyeong Gun Lee addressed participants at the Corporate Law session as the featured speaker for the topic of “Challenges in Cross-Border M&A” and Yong Seok Ahn was a featured speaker at the Law Firm Management session. Mr. Ahn’s presentation was titled “Surviving the Changing Legal Market: Strategies for Local Law Firms to Succeed in Increased Competition.”
