For two days beginning June 16, Lee & Ko held the “Seminar on Patent Disputes in the US and a Mock Trial” in cooperation with the Korea Invention Promotion Association and Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP, a prestigious US law firm, at the Amoris Hall of the Meritz Tower. Through the active participation of an incumbent judge of the US Federal District Court and U.S. patent attorneys, the seminar provided a valuable opportunity to experience and to learn about the U.S patent litigation process. Approximately 150 patent industry professionals from Korea attended the event and displayed remarkable interest and enthusiasm in the seminar. Lee & Ko, in cooperation with various competent authorities, both in Korea and overseas l, has been holding many symposiums and events on various issues of interest and importance in specialized legal areas such as patent law.
