Recent Developments

In collaboration with Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association (“KPBMA”) (Chairman Hee-Mok Won), Lee & Ko has scheduled to hold a “Webinar to facilitate the transition of healthcare companies in a new environment”. 

This webinar will be moderated by Lee & Ko Attorney Keum Nang Park, and Tae Gil Ha, the Head of Pharmaceutical Affairs Policy Division of the Ministry of Health and Welfare will facilitate pharmaceutical companies and medical devices companies’ understanding of the recently amended Pharmaceutical Affairs Act through his presentation on “Understanding the Amended Pharmaceutical Affairs Act (CSO Regulations and Disclosure of Expenditure Reports, etc.)”. At this webinar, presentations will be given by the following individuals: (1) Lee & Ko Attorney Dong Ho Ryu, who was formerly the Senior Prosecutor for the Ministry of Food and Drug Crime, Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office, will present on criminal issues surrounding the manufacture, permission, renewal of permission, safety management and manufacturing management, approval of national lot release, violation of order in distribution, advertising, etc., which requires the attention of healthcare companies; (2) Lee & Ko Attorney Ji Hyun Yu will present on “Utilization of Medical Data and its Limitations” in reflection of latest trends; and (3) Lee & Ko Advisor Sung Ju Kim will present on “Anticancer Drugs and Insurance Pricing System” in reflection of the same.
