On December 21, 2023, Invest Chosun announced that Lee & Ko has ranked 2nd in the 2023 M&A Legal Advisory Ranking with a transaction amount of 14.636 trillion in 55 transactions. It highlighted that “Lee & Ko has had a busy year and chased down Kim & Chang” and commented that “both the size and number of advisory acceptance have increased compared to last year”. Moreover, it added that “it now remains to be seen whether Lee & Ko will bring its legal advice on the Korea Development Bank and Korea Ocean Business Corporation’s sale of HMM to a successful conclusion”.
