On June 30, 2023, NEWSPIM reported that Lee & Ko and Gleiss Lutz held a webinar titled ‘ESG Key Regulations in EU, Germany and South Korea’ on June 29.
In this webinar, Eric Wagner and Marc Ruttloff, partners of the German top tier law firm Gleiss Lutz, presented an overview of the applicability and requirements of the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive Proposal. After the presentation, Lee & Ko research fellow Dr. Suyeon Kim explained the key issues of the Korean supply chain due diligence law which is expected to be discussed in the near future, along with the ESG disclosure roadmap in Korea.
