The August 17, 2020 issue of Korea Economic Daily reported on the Construction and Real Estate Team of Lee & Ko, which is seeing an increase in litigation cases relating to construction and real estate, due to the government’s real estate policies and related statutory revisions.
The Korea Economic Daily reported that “the leading law firms are providing comprehensive and specialized legal services relating to real estate issues including regulatory matters, funding and site purchase, with the input of advisors and counsels who are experts in their respective areas,” and that “Lee & Ko boasts about 50 specialists who work in specialized teams that comprise experts in finance, construction and other specialized fields, to provide advisory and litigation services, and further, a process is under way to bring together the real estate experts who are dispersed into various practice groups under the umbrella of the Construction and Real Estate Group.“
