[JoonAng Ilbo] Sungwoo Lim inaugurated as the President of KOCIA

On 30 April 2020, the JoonAng Ilbo reported that “Sungwoo Lim from Lee & Ko was appointed as the new President of the Korean Council for International Arbitration (“KOCIA”) on 28 April,” and “President Lim has been an arbitrator of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (“KCAB”) since 2008.”

Sungwoo Lim, the head of the International Arbitration Practice Group at Lee&Ko, is an expert in international dispute resolution who has successfully dealt with diverse international arbitrations and litigations on behalf of world’s leading corporations.

In order to energize international arbitration, President Lim has been actively participating in diverse activities such as the KOCIA, an association established by Korean international arbitration practitioners, while also being a leading contributor to the development and vitalization of the international arbitration system.
