The Korea Economic Daily published its interview with Lee & Ko’s managing partner, Yong Seok Ahn, on April 24, 2020.
In the interview, Mr. Ahn stated that “In terms of level of expertise, I think Lee & Ko’s attorneys are definitely at the top,” and further remarked that “Clients seek Lee & Ko when they have cases that require specialized expertise, and the more we emphasize specialized expertise, the more we are able to provide efficient service which in turn gives the client greater satisfaction. As such, we have a high rate of return clients who seek our services again for a different case.“
Regarding the changes law firms will encounter as a result of the novel coronavirus outbreak, Mr. Ahn said, “After the COVID19 situation, companies will seek a new business model to change the way they work and we will face a huge change,” and added, “Lee & Ko is preparing in advance for an increase in demand for legal advice that will be sought by companies to ensure whether their new unprecedented approach will be in compliance with the laws.”
