[The Bell] [The Bell League Table] SK Group’s business restructuring, top client for M&A legal advisors

Publication date: 2020.04.01. The Bell reported that “Lee & Ko acted as SK Group’s legal advisor in many of their M&A transactions during 2020 first quarter, catching much attention as SK Group’s “legal assistant.”

“In accordance to The Bell’s 2020 first quarter league table (completed deal standard), SK Group successfully completed total of 10 deals, adding “vitality to the M&A Market.” The largest of the deals was SKC’s acquisition of the world’s largest automotive battery company KCF Technology with a deal value of KWN 1.2 trillion, which was advised as the main legal advisor by Lee & Ko.”

“In addition, Lee & Ko also provided legal advisory on SK Siltron’s acquisition of silicon carbide (SiC) wafer division from Dupont, a US chemical company for a total deal value of KWN 537 billion.”
