[Financial News] "Opportunity for Inter-Korea Cooperation Comes in the Midst of Crisis”

On March 6, 2020, Financial News published an interview with Hyung Sub Lim, a partner in the Litigation Group and North Korea Advisory Group at Lee & Ko, covering the issue of inter-Korea economic cooperation. 

According to Mr. Lim, “If inter-Korea economic cooperation gains a momentum, a virtuous cycle of economic development can be achieved by creating new jobs and stimulating economic growth.”  Mr. Lim also emphasized that “with the long-term perspective, we must seize the opportunity when it comes, by fully preparing to do so in the midst of the current situation.” 

Since joining Lee & Ko in 2007, Mr. Lim specializes in financial and corporate litigation and North Korea affairs (in particular, inter-Korea economic cooperation and North Korea investment issues).  Mr. Lim currently serves as the Secretary General of Lee & Ko North Korea Advisory Group, Consultant for the Kaesong Industrial Complex Legal Consulting Committee of the Ministry of Unification, Consultant for the Special Committee on Unification Law of the Ministry of Unification, and Consultant for the Promotion Committee on Unification Law of the Seoul Bar Association.
