On January 20, 2020, The Korea Economic Daily reported on the Election Response TF Team established by Lee & Ko in preparation of the growing demand for consultation services relating to the election as the 21st National Assembly general election (April 15) lies ahead.
The Korea Economic Daily reported that "There are many cases which Lee & Ko has been able to overturn a guilty verdict at the final judgment on appeal” and introduced the Election Response TF Team as including “Chang Youp SONG, former Chief Public Prosecutor with extensive experience in election and political funds cases; Chang Hee SUH, former prosecutor at the Seoul Central Prosecutor’s Office; Yong Sup KIM, a former presiding judge at the Election Division Panel of the Seoul High Court; and Junghwa HAN, an expert in election law who wrote “Explanation of Punishment under Public Officials Election Act”Supreme Prosecutors’ Office) and “A Study on Effective Response to Overseas Elections Criminals” while at the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office.”
