On November 7, 2019, Law Times reported on the “Legal Environment Facing IT Companies” seminar that was hosted by Lee & Ko.
The seminar, which was hosted by Lee & Ko’s Labor and Employment team and TMT team, was designed to provide IT companies with more information on the basic legal principles underlying IT sector-related laws and noteworthy court precedents. Mr. Hyunseok SONG of the Labor and Employment team prepared a presentation on “Labor Law: Termination of an Employment Relationship and Working Hours,” while Mr. Hong Seon KIM of the IP team spoke extensively on the topic of “IP Law: Infringement of Ideas/Trade Secrets and Non-Compete Clauses.” Mr. Jubong JANG of the TMT team also contributed to the session with his presentation of “Personal Information Protection Act: Current Status of Data Protection Regulations.”
