On 21 October 2019, the Korea Economic Daily reported on the rapidly-growing international arbitration advisory market in Korea.
Regarding the Lee & Ko international arbitration team, the Korea Economic Daily reported, “the most aggressive law firm in recruiting arbitration specialists has been Lee & Ko, which most recently recruited Sanghoon Han, Kichang Chung, and foreign attorneys Richard Jung Yeun Won and Grace Yoon.” In addition, “the Lee & Ko international arbitration team, led by attorney Sungwoo (Sean) Lim, has been appointed to represent the Korean government in a series of large-scale ISD cases in which claims were brought against the Korean government, including the Mason, Elliott, and Gale cases. The demand for talent is growing.”
