On September
20, 2019, Medipana News released an article that Lee & Ko and Morgan Lewis
held a joint seminar for pharmaceutical companies.
At this
seminar, Ms. Kyungjin Kim, an attorney at Lee & Ko, made a presentation on ‘the
recent intellectual property decisions in the pharmaceutical field and their
significant issues’. She introduced potential
strategies for the pharmaceutical companies by analyzing the Supreme Court
decision on the Solifenacin case.
Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Kim worked at a patent
law firm and Samsung Electronics for four years as a patent agent, and she has
worked as an intellectual property lawyer since 2012. In particular, she has successfully represented
and advised clients in numerous intellectual property cases regarding patent,
trademark, copyright, employee invention, license, unfair competition, and trade
secret.
