In its Special Report dated August 13, 2019, the Legal Times published its list of “2019 Leading Lawyers” for the Antitrust & Competition Law practice category.
Among the lawyers named are Lee & Ko’s managing partner, Yong Seok Ahn, and our Antitrust & Competition Law practice head, Hwan Jeong. Hwan Jeong also served as Advisory Counsel on the Competition Policy Advisory Committee of the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC). Also named were partners, Sung Man Kim, Jung Won Park and Hyun Chul Kim, who are all former KFTC lawyers. KFTC lawyers are a rare breed, as most KFTC officials are career civil servants and not licensed lawyers. Finally, rounding out the lineup of Leading Lawyers from Lee & Ko are partners, Young Hoon Jung, Pyoung Keun Song and Eul Hwan Kang.
